It's the most wonderful time of the year !  We have been fortunate to enjoy some very warm weather over the past couple of months, but like anything it will come to an end.  This means only one thing - IT'S CURLING TIME!.  Early registration for existing members is available soon, with in-person registration dates on September 6th ( 7:00 pm - 9 pm) and September 8th (10:00 am - 12:00 pm).

Are you new to the area? Never curled before but would like more information?  Join NGCC members at the "Meet & Greet" social during registration on Thursday September 6th.  You will be able to get some answers to your questions about the sport, the club and all the social aspects that NGCC has to offer.

Are you interested in trying something new or getting back into playing this year? We'd love to have you join our club.

Our club will once again host women's curling teams from across Canada and around the world at the 2018 Royal LePage Women's Fall Classic.  With $21,000 in prize money available, this years event will be outstanding.  Be sure to check our club site or the event site at the link above for more information.

The Academy of Curling Clinics are coming back for a third straight year to City View Curling Club from Friday, September 21st until Sunday, Septmeber 23rd, 2018 featuring:

Mary-Anne Arsenault, Russ Howard and Grant Odishaw.

This year we are trying a new format that will consist of two sessions of 32 individuals for a durtion of 1 1/2 days each. This will allow more time to brush up on your delivery, sweeping, strategy and other fundamentals of the game of curling.

A banquet dinner will be held on the Saturday evening including a raffle draw and chance to mingle with these curling greats in a casual setting.

On Thursday, September 28, five members of the North Grenville Curling Club were recognized by the Kemptville & District Sports Hall of Fame for their contributions to sports in our community: Bill White, Gary Pickard, Brian Cassidy, Terry Whalley, and Lloyd Bildson.
